体检标准修改后，林芳称已第一时间联系厦门市人社局，将继续申诉。林芳说，如果未来有需要参与“地贫”知识科普，或者向其他携带者分享维权经历、提供经验的机会，她一定积极参与，“至少要让更多人知道，地贫基因携带并不是 ‘病’，不会影响正常工作和生活，大家没必要为此感到害怕，更不该因此被区别对待。”
